Growth64 · Decide
Choose the few growth moves your organisation can carry.
What is Growth64?
Loopium's decision system for choosing growth moves. It maps 64 growth plays across 8 levers and 8 stages and narrows them to a slate the organisation can carry, costed, resourced and linked to the three financial statements. The slate is reset every six months. It is a decision system rather than a large strategic framework: it ends in a slate, owners, cost bands and dates.
At a glance
A wide field, narrowed on purpose.
Most growth plans fail from too many moves, not too few. Growth64 makes the narrowing explicit and records what was left out, and why.
Operating principle
Why a six-month cycle?
Technology and competition now change faster than a 12-month strategy cycle can absorb. There is no longer room for annual, cognitively heavy strategy sessions that take weeks of the leadership team's time and are out of date soon after.
Most organisations still formulate strategy every 12, 24 or 36 months. Growth64 moves that to every six months, with a progress review each month. To make that pace sustainable, the cycle has to be light on your team. Growth64 carries the analytical heavy lifting, so your leaders spend their time on the choices and the trade-offs, not on preparing for them.
The board
Why 64?
The name comes from the 64 squares of a chessboard. Eight levers of growth run across eight stages of a business. Each square is a play: a specific, repeatable way to grow at that stage using that lever.
Not every square is open to every business. Some plays are out of reach at your stage or beyond your current capacity. The board makes that visible before resources are committed.
Lever and stage names and the play library are provided as part of an agreed, scoped engagement. The preview shows the structure, not the content.

The output
What you leave with.
A short slate of growth moves your organisation can actually carry. Every move has one accountable owner, a known cost and a date by which it should show results. It is traced to the financial statements, so it can be defended to a board. The moves left out are recorded with the reason, and the slate is reset every six months.
The selection method, play library and working templates are provided as part of an agreed, scoped engagement.

FAQ
Questions about Growth64
What is Growth64?
Growth64 is Loopium's decision system for choosing growth moves. It maps 64 growth plays across 8 levers and 8 stages, then narrows that field to a slate the organisation can carry, costed, resourced and wired to the three financial statements.
Is Growth64 a fixed list of plays?
No. The 64-play map is the starting field. Which plays make the slate depends on the business, its stage and its capacity. Most slates hold a handful of plays.
Why six months instead of an annual strategy cycle?
Technology and competition now move faster than a 12-, 24- or 36-month strategy cycle can absorb. Growth64 resets the slate every six months and reviews it monthly. It carries the analytical heavy lifting itself, so the cycle stays light on the leadership team.
How often is the slate reviewed?
The slate is set for six months and reviewed monthly. A move that is not producing results can be stopped at any monthly review; stopped work is recorded, not hidden.
Why wire the slate to the financial statements?
Because a growth move that cannot be traced to revenue, margin, working capital or cash is a preference, not a decision. Linking each play to the income statement, balance sheet and cash flow shows its cost band and the size of the prize before resources are committed.
